On the morning of December 19, 2025, a delegation from the Bozhou Municipal Government, led by Vice Mayor Xue Bing, visited the origin of Wugen China—Shanghai Liantangxuan Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic—for an inspection and exchange visit. The delegation included Zhang Jianying, Director of the Bozhou Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Pharmaceutical Industry Development Promotion Bureau); Long Hongming, Director of the Bozhou Investment Promotion Center; and Yang Zhong, General Manager of Bozhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Group, among other relevant officials.

During this inspection, Zhou Xiaobo, General Manager of Donghao Lansing Shanghai Jianzhi Exhibition Co., Ltd., provided a detailed introduction to the Bozhou delegation about the "2026 Shanghai International Personal Care Expo." The expo is guided by the principle of "enabling everyone to possess anti-aging capabilities," with the annual theme of "Technology for Anti-Aging, Health for the Self." Key highlights of this year's expo include topics such as "Cell Therapy and Biomedicine," "Preventive Healthcare in Traditional Chinese Medicine," "Weight Management," and "Cancer Prevention and Intervention." The event will feature three major exhibition sectors: anti-aging medical technologies, traditional Chinese medicine techniques, and medicinal foods, integrating lifestyle medicine with anti-aging and health management to provide comprehensive technology-driven health solutions for all participants.

Specifically highlighted was the "Wugen China Shanghai Tour" event series, co-organized with Wugen China, which combines "exhibition, conference, and public education" into an integrated format, injecting new momentum into the "Healthy China" strategy. The delegation extended a sincere invitation to Bozhou to organize its outstanding enterprises and institutions to participate in the expo, showcasing Bozhou’s strengths and achievements in the fields of traditional Chinese medicine wellness, healthcare products, and comprehensive health services. This initiative aims to strengthen industrial interaction and resource sharing between the two regions, jointly promoting the high-quality development of traditional Chinese medicine and the health industry.

The inspection was warmly hosted by Professor Wang Guisong, founder of Wugen China and Chief Physician of the Department of Neurosurgery at Renji Hospital, affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, along with his core team. Through site visits and discussion sessions, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as innovative collaboration in the health industry, the integrated development of traditional Chinese medicine and cardiovascular-cerebrovascular disease prevention, as well as cultural tourism and investment promotion. Multiple consensuses were reached during the exchange.

Under the guidance of Professor Wang Guisong, Vice Mayor Xue Bing and his delegation visited the origin of Wugen China. The inspection team members attentively listened to explanations and gained a detailed understanding of the base’s progress and achievements in the research and development of precision prevention and control technologies for cardiovascular-cerebrovascular diseases, the practical application of non-pharmacological treatments in traditional Chinese medicine, and innovative models in the health industry. They expressed high recognition for Wugen China’s development philosophy, which centers on "public education, nationwide screening, technological innovation, multi-party collaboration, and public participation," as well as its groundbreaking technological applications.

Subsequently, the two sides held a discussion meeting. During the meeting, Vice Mayor Xue Bing outlined collaboration proposals focused on Bozhou’s health industry upgrade, the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine applications, government-enterprise collaborative innovation, and cultural tourism development. He expressed hopes to leverage Wugen China’s technological resources and platform advantages to advance the high-quality development of Bozhou’s health industry and inject new momentum into the "Healthy Bozhou" initiative.

Director Zhang Jianying further clarified the collaboration directions based on the actual development of Bozhou’s traditional Chinese medicine industry.

Professor Wang Guisong elaborated in detail on the establishment of research institutes and the co-development of specialized disciplines in cardiovascular-cerebrovascular diseases.
