2026 Shanghai International Personal Wellness Expo Collaborates with "Stroke-Free China" to Set New Industry Standards

2025-12-11

Recently, the "China Cardiovascular Health and Disease Report" released by the National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases reveals that there are already 330 million cardiovascular disease patients in China. Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases have long ranked first in mortality among various diseases, characterized by "high incidence, high disability rates, and high mortality." Disease prevention and control have become a top priority in the field of public health. Simultaneously, with the deepening advancement of the "Healthy China 2030" strategy, new development opportunities are emerging in areas such as innovation in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), precision medicine, and the integration of wellness and elderly care. A major health industry event centered on the prevention and control of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases is about to commence in Shanghai.

Driven by both policy dividends and market demand, the big health industry is accelerating its transformation towards an integrated model of "prevention, treatment, and wellness." Within this, the prevention and control of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, being crucial to national life and health, has become a core track for industry development. Data indicates that China's big health industry market scale has exceeded ten trillion yuan, with the brain and heart health sector growing at an annual rate of over 15%. Sub-sectors like TCM diagnosis and treatment, food-as-medicine products, and smart wellness equipment show strong development potential. Against this backdrop, the 2026 2nd Shanghai International Personal Wellness Expo will deeply collaborate with the "Stroke-Free China" project to create a comprehensive health industry event integrating forums, exhibitions, free medical consultations, and accreditation ceremonies. This event, taking place from March 18-20, 2026, in Hall H1 of the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, aims to establish an authoritative platform for communication and services related to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease prevention and control.

It is understood that this exhibition is hosted by Shanghai East Best & Lansheng Convention & Exhibition (Group) Co., Ltd., organized by East Best & Lansheng Convention & Exhibition Group Shanghai Jianzhi Exhibition Co., Ltd., and supported by dozens of institutions including Renji Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. The "Stroke-Free China" project serves as its core featured segment. "Stroke-Free China" was initiated by Dr. Wang Guisong, Chief Physician of the Neurosurgery Department at Renji Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. It is jointly promoted by over twenty institutions, including the China Scientists Forum and the Yangtze River Delta Inclusive Healthcare Development Alliance, aiming to integrate forces from all sectors of society to build an innovative prevention and control system for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.

This edition of the Shanghai Personal Wellness Expo, with the overarching goal of "Empowering Everyone with Anti-Aging Capabilities," focuses on three core directions: "Medical Anti-Aging," "Food as Medicine," and "TCM Technologies." It will feature 20,000 square meters of exhibition space, gathering nearly 400 high-quality industry enterprises and is expected to attract close to 20,000 professional visitors. The "Stroke-Free China" segment will include three specialized exhibition areas: a nearly 500-square-meter brand enterprise zone showcasing innovative achievements in preventive medicine ("treating before illness arises"), tumor rehabilitation, food-as-medicine, and cell therapy; a nearly 300-square-meter TCM Hall inviting award-winning (Zhang Zhongjing Award) TCM clinics to offer traditional diagnostic and therapeutic services; and a nearly 300-square-meter health group exhibition area aggregating anti-aging products, specialty health ingredients, and local industrial clusters, promoting industry synergy through a "government-backed + enterprise cluster" model.

Concurrently with the exhibition, the "Stroke-Free China Forum Series" will be held as a highlight. Centered on the themes of "technological innovation, multi-party collaboration, and public participation," the forum will invite experts from medical, research, and corporate fields to jointly explore cutting-edge technologies and practical pathways for the prevention and control of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
